The Ice House, Helmsdale 's monumental deep freezing. Once a shop for salmon gimmick, afterwards a coal fired fish and scrap store. TimeSpan 's artist in abode and younker humanities conservator Ruth Macdougall holds commissioned Chilean picture artist Yael Rosenblut and myself to research and respond to the Ice House. The ensuing work will be a dual sited instalment inside the ice house and in Timespan Gallery
from 4July to 2nd August 2009.
